The Symposium on Algebra and Computation is a workshop held every two
years aiming to create an active interrelationship between several
branches of algebra and computer science; those areas have originally
been taken to be independent from each other and do not have occasions
of discussion to meet together.

Algorithms in algebra and discrete mathematics such as Number
Theory, Group Theory, Ring Theory, Combinatorics, Graph Theory.

Cryptography, Coding Theory, Symbolic Computation and other fields
of Computer Application.

Theory of Programming, Theory of Computation, Symbolic Logic, and
other fields in Theoretical Computer Science.
Proposals of new related topics are also welcomed.
